FANRPAN Engages Global Funders and Innovators at the 2026 Skoll World Forum
FANRPAN’s Chief Executive Officer and Head of Mission, Dr Tshilidzi Madzivhandila, joined social entrepreneurs, funders and innovators from around the world at the Skoll World Forum, held in Oxford, United Kingdom, from 21 to 24 April 2026. Convened by the Skoll Foundation, the forum is one of the leading global gatherings for organisations working on practical solutions to pressing social and environmental challenges.
FANRPAN’s participation was facilitated by the Judith Neilson Foundation, a partner in FANRPAN’s work to strengthen evidence-informed policy and institutional capacity for resilient agrifood systems in Africa.
Over the four days, FANRPAN used the platform to position its role as a knowledge-coordination and evidence-to-policy partner in African food systems, and to build relationships with funders and intermediaries working on agriculture, economic inclusion and social innovation. The conversations surfaced concrete opportunities for collaboration that FANRPAN is now following up, and reinforced the value of connecting African policy evidence with the wider community of social investors and innovators.
