On 11 November 2025, FANRPAN participated in the SADC–International Cooperating Partners (ICP) Dialogue Platform, held virtually under the theme of strengthening regional cooperation, sustainable development, and integration across Southern Africa. The meeting brought together over 25 International Cooperating Partners alongside representatives from SADC Member States, fostering strategic dialogue on shared priorities and collaborative action toward achieving the region’s long-term development goals.
FANRPAN’s engagement in this platform reflects its continued commitment to supporting SADC Member States in developing and implementing evidence-based policies that address climate change, food insecurity, and other pressing challenges facing the region. Through its research, advocacy, and multi-stakeholder partnerships, FANRPAN contributes to building resilient agricultural systems and strengthening policy coherence at both national and regional levels.
This participation also aligns with the implementation of FANRPAN’s new Strategy, which emphasizes enhanced policy support, knowledge sharing, and investment in capacity strengthening to accelerate agricultural transformation. By working closely with SADC and its partners, FANRPAN continues to advance its mission of ensuring that African voices shape sustainable food systems and climate-smart development pathways across the region.
