We are very happy to inform you that upon invitation by the conference organisers the COMPETE project is organising a Side Event Workshop on the occasion of the 17th European Biomass Conference & Exhibition (29 June to 3 July, www.conference-biomass.com) in Hamburg, Germany.

The combined ETA-WIP-University of Newcastle workshop on "Bioenergy for Rural Development in Africa and Asia" of the two projects COMPETE and RE Impact will take place on Tuesday, 30 June, at 10:40 to 16:25, at the CCH-Congress Center in Hamburg.

Please, find attached the current workshop agenda.

The organisers of the Biomass Conference highly appreciate the participation of a COMPETE Delegation from African countries and look forward to fruitful discussions with African stakeholders in the field of biomass and bioenergy.
