FANRPAN CEO calls for closer partnership with RUFORUM

The CEO was guest speaker at the third Regional Universities Forum-RUFORUM AGM that was held in Maputo 27-29 August 2007. The meeting was attended by some 40 delegates, mainly Vice Chancellors and Deans from 12 African Universities. The take home message for the Academics was that FANRPAN is an ideal platform for them to demonstrate relevance to Development by providing evidence for policy development. FANRPAN expects the universities to play an active role in the FANRPAN county NODEs in the 12 southern African countries where FANRPAN operates.
